Some more comments: * Check that the packages matches (hugin and hugin-data package should both the same version). Maybe there is something mixed. * packages.ubuntu.com lists for Ubuntu 14.04 only the 2013.0 version. And this version is compiled and linked with wxWidgets 2.8. Your assertion mentions wxWidgets 3.0. Maybe during the update there is something mixed up with the different wxWidgets versions? Just guessing.
