No, maybe I didn't express my self correctly. There is no way anyone
can put restrictions on the use of ht://Dig. The GNU GPL forbids any
sort of restriction on use, so this just cannot happen short of
changing the license.

The purpose of including the MRTG files was to give everyone an idea
of the resource commitment.

Ah. I didn't know they did this, but of course you have the benefit
of visiting recently. :-) I don't think it will be a problem to keep
the machine itself. Shipping will be relatively easy too--it's
currently in the San Diego area, so it doesn't need to go far.

It's obviously difficult to get an idea of location of traffic. But
the last time I checked, a slim majority of the traffic was to N.
American domains. It would be nice to have .uk and .fr mirrors
perhaps, but I think there may be good reasons for keeping it on a
big pipe in the US. Jesse has already offered to set up a
www.nl.htdig.org, so perhaps we can do some of this as well.
Right now we *do* have SourceForge logos because we're hosting
ftp.htdig.org there. As I said, I think logos are a small price to
pay, but I'd prefer to not have them or only have 1 logo.
Just my $0.02.
