Yes, I think we'd all like to see an integrated duplicate prevention
mechanism. I offered to write one for 3.2 but have been side-tracked more
than a few times. Back in September, another Geoff,
<[EMAIL PROTECTED]> offered to contribute MD5 duplicate detection
(among a few other things).
