Agreed. It is the first time *we've* killed off any 
attributes--Andrew did kill some as evidenced in the RELEASE.html 
file. But I can't think of any that I've seen killed since I started 
as maintainer.

Hmm. That's not a bad idea, but with Acroread 4 so buggy and often 
unable (or unwilling) to generate PS, I wonder how long it will be a 
viable option.

If anyone is willing to turn PDF.cc into a standalone converter, I 
think that would be pretty easy.
