[htdig3-dev] Version number

       Hi,

       Is it necessary to keep the version number in .version to
htdig-3.2.0b1-dev ? It bothers rpm -ba and changing it every time is
tedious. Could it become htdig-3.2.0b1 instead ? 
       Gilles will probably tell me if I'm missing something :-)
