Hi, First of all, massive thanks to the htdig developers for all the work you've put into htdig, particularly the enhancements in the current beta branch. The 3.2 beta works like a charm for me on Linux (Solaris is another matter...) and in enabled to set up an great search mechanism for internal doc users at the company I work for to use to search our product documentation (we lack a usable "officially" supported doc search engine, so the one I set up fills a big need).
My only complaint is, I can't get it to build on Solaris (even after reviewing the list archives for "can't compile on Solaris postings" and following the fixes suggested in those messages). The specific fatal error I'm running into comes when make is trying to build htfuzzy: Undefined first referenced symbol in file _IO_getc ../htlib/.libs/libht.a(String.o) ld: fatal: Symbol referencing errors. No output written to htfuzzy collect2: ld returned 1 exit status If you want to see the full context, I have the full 'make' output at: http://www.logopoeia.com/htdig/make-errors.log I get the same error whether I try to build htdig-3.2.0b4 or htdig-3.2.0b3.
