Hi list,

this may be a silly question, but anyway it's not directly obvious to me,
how I can count the http-traffic which every dig produce with external
sites.

For the system:
I use the dig in Version 3.1.16 on a Linux-Box (SuSE). I store all sites for
one index-run in an external file because up to now I index 40 sites for a
accumulated database. This gives 4 DB-Files with approx. 170MB in the db -
Dir.

Is there any chance to count exactly what (http-)traffic is needed to built
the index once?

TIA a lot
Thomas
