Hi,
I have htDig 3.1.6 running on Red Hat Linux
8.0. With regards to using rundig and creating a database, and then
searching a database... everything works fine.
I'd now like to make use of the extremely useful
'email notification' feature. I added the required META content to a
number of HTML pages, and then reindexed the database using rundig.
My htdig binaries are installed in
/bin/htdig
From this directory, I run the
command:
./htnotify -v -c
/var/www/html/htdig/conf/htdig.conf
It seems to do something for a few minites (with no
output on the screen), and then outputs:
"Aborted"
Can anyone suggest what I can do to get on the
track to get this working??
Thanks for any help...
Shams
p.s. the META content I added to the top of a few
HTML pages was:
<META NAME="Author"
CONTENT="Shams">
<META NAME="htdig-email-subject" CONTENT="Update Web Pages!"> <META NAME="htdig-email" CONTENT="[EMAIL PROTECTED],[EMAIL PROTECTED]"> <META NAME="htdig-notification-date" CONTENT="8/28/1995"> |
