hi!
i tried to do a network install with hplip, but it did not work.
no device found.
cups can print directly (socket:9100) and windows too. there is
no real jetdirect interface (telnet and all setup possibilities),
but port 9100 is open and there is a webinterface (very limited)
on port 80.
i'm just searching for a way to set photo resolutions and paper
with linux and do photo prints. cups just allows me 600x600.
and obviously i don't want to use windows ...
