You must connect the printer to a Windows box for this to work. This
printer requires driver software on the host pc to print.

Subject: [Hplip-help] Won't print directly from camera to printer

I have an HP D4160 Printer with usb port and it has the photoexpress
button to print from the camera. The Camera is an HP Photosmart R837
digital camera. When I plug in the usb cable from camera to printer &
try to push the photo express button on the printer it will not print. I
have selected the photo to print on the camera & selected 1 copy & OK to
print but nothing happens. Please E-Mail Mike D. At
[EMAIL PROTECTED] with a possible solution.I know 1 option is to
call HP but I always end up on phone for an hour or so. Thanks!
