Hi,

i have the exact same setup and also didn't know what to do.
I ran hp-makeuri which comes with hplip and supplied the uri as
argument to xsane, like "xsane
hpaio:/net/Officejet_7300_series?ip=192.168.1.100" and that works fine
for me now.
