Your printer isn't installed in HPLIP, so restarting the daemons will have
no effect.
Try installing it using:
su -c hp-setup

I'm still having problems; can't print to Photosmart 2610. Now this
printer originally worked after first installing Linux Fedora 6 with
hplip-1.7.2 in early March.
A few days later after restarting after a power failure I couldn't print

I just installed hplip-1.7.4a to see if that would fix but still got
