Ok that means the "hp" backend can see your printer OK. 

What does the CUPS error_log show when you try printing? Make sure CUPS
loglevel=debug in cupsd.conf (ie: see hplip trouble shooting).

Also are there any syslog messages during printing? The "removing usblp"
message is normal since hplip does not use usblp.
