Can you run hp-check and send that? What's the exact problem you are
having? Under what situations does it not print? I've checked
ubuntuforums.org and I'm not seeing anyone else reporting this. So I'm
curious if there is something going on. If this happens again where you
can't print, run:
sudo tail -f /var/log/messages
try to print, and send the output in /var/log/messages.
Thanks!

Dear Sir:
I use Feisty Ubuntu and my Photosmart C3180 prints some time and not
others. I have HPLIP 1.7.3, the default HP drivers in Ubuntu. I bought
this multipurpose printer because I thought it would work in Linux, but
it doesn't work well enough.
Are the new HPLIP 1.7.4a better?
