Hello, I assume you mean the HP Color LaserJet 2600n.
See http://hplip.sourceforge.net/supported_devices/unsupported.html According to the HP data sheet PDF http://h10010.www1.hp.com/wwpc/pscmisc/vac/us/product_pdfs/446153.pdf its printer language is "Host-based(5)" and (5) is explained as "No PCL or PostScript" so that it looks totally unsupported. For background information see http://en.opensuse.org/SDB:Purchasing_a_Printer_and_Compatibility If you can take it back to where you got it from, try to exchange it with a normal printer - i.e. a printer which supports a standard printer language like PCL or PostScript, see http://hplip.sourceforge.net/supported_devices/color_laser.html Kind Regards Johannes Meixner -- SUSE LINUX Products GmbH, Maxfeldstrasse 5, 90409 Nuernberg, Germany AG Nuernberg, HRB 16746, GF: Markus Rex ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by DB2 Express Download DB2 Express C - the FREE version of DB2 express and take control of your XML.
