I've got a PSC 1315v that I cannot get to work properly. The scanner works
fine within windows, but does not work within Linux. I've tried both Fedora
Core 6 and SLED 10. The printer works fine and hp-toolbox shows the 1315.
If I click "Scan" from within hp-toolbox, sane gives me a failed to open
device hpaio:/usb/... Using YAST to configure the scanner doesn't work
either. The 1315 shows up as "Not configured" I highlight it and click
edit. I choose the 1310 driver and a box pops up stating that I need to
disable ptal and enable hplip to which I say yes. It then finishes
installing the scanner, and looks like it worked ok. But, it still says
"not configured" in yast. sane-find-scanner finds a usb scanner, but
scanimage -L says no scanners were identified. I'm not sure where to turn
from here. Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Ryan
