Well everything looks okay.

So lets do this:

cd /usr/share/hplip

run "ps ax | grep hp"
run kill <procID of HPSSD>
then run
python ./hpssd.py -ldebug -x
open another terminal
run hp-toolbox -g
post the logs from both.
