Hello, I downloaded the self-extracting archive with installer for hplip 1.6.12 to my Novell SuSE 10.0 box, and followed the Installer instructions, using the 'automatic' mode, but my hp PhotoSmart 3180 does not seem to be working.
I made it all the way through the installation process with the following messages: #1 came up just before the hp-setup tool error: This program may not function properly with the version of PyQt that is installed (3.13.0). error: Incorrect version of pyQt installed. Ver. 3.14 or greater required. error: This program will continue, but you may experience errors, crashes or other problems. #2 after I had clicked 'finish' with the hp-setup tool -- error: <b>Printer queue setup failed.</b><p>Please restart CUPS and try again. so I ran: /etc/init.d/cups restart But this did not seem to help as the print function does not seem to be working.
