Hi, Yep, I removed everything I could see, rebooted, and re-added the printer using "hp-setup" but still no joy sorry. It detects the printer is there, and shows a whole lot of stuff with "hp-info", but it just wont print.
I loaded up a spare hard disk with Windows XP last night, and installed the factory drivers, and it printed ok, so I think the unit is fine, just something wrong with my Linux. In despiration, I even tried catting a text file /dev/usb/lp0 but nothing happened! Any other tips ? Thanks, Tim.
