HI All I have installed ver 1.6.12 , connecting to a HP PSC 2510 multi function device on sled 10.
>From windows, I can scan fax print and acces memory modules When I run HP-setup, it finds and configures the printer, but returns Error: unable ti communicate with th device. hpfax:./net/psc_2500_series?ip=10.11.1.5 The messages log shows leannePC hopid: no JetDirect support enabled. leannePC hpoid: unable to read JetDirectDevice:DeviceID leannePC python: hp-setup[5495] error: Unable to communicate with the device: hpfax:/net/psc_2500_series?ip=10.11.1.5 leannePC python: hp-setup[5495] error: Unable to communicate with the device. Please check the device and try again. ANyone know where I can look to fix this I have disabled the Personal Firewall, to get it visable.
