Hey,
I was inspired to run out and purchase the HP 5610
after reading this:

I hooked everything up, proceeded with what seemed to be a
successful HPLIP install, and generally enjoyed putting the
All-in-One through its copying, printing, and scanning paces.
One problem --- I can't fax digital documents from the
hp-sendfax application. I can add recipients, sure, but the
"add to list" dialog hangs indefinitely and printing to
"5600_fax" fails silently. I would appreciate any and all help
I can get with this problem, as I really enjoy using both the
appliance and the HPLIP driver.
