Hi there, I have a laserjet 4000 that I want to monitor with hplip toolbox. According to the supported printers list the 4000 is supported via USB connection only. But the 4000 doesn't have a USB port! It only has a parallel port and an ethernet connector.
So I was able to print a test page with the hpijs driver but when starting the toolbox I received a message that there weren no hp devices connected to the computer.
