You should access the card using USB mass storage. When you plugged the card
into the printer, did you end up with an icon on your desktop representing
the card? If so, transfer the files that way. If not, check with your distro
on how to mount the card as a USB mass storage device.

The 7310 recognises the card and lists the images quickly enough and
they appear in the toolbox window within a few seconds. However if I
"Select All" and then "Unload Selected Files" it takes ages to
transfer each file. It's taking of the order of a minute for each
file, the files are about 700k each. At this rate it will take ten
hours or so to transfer all the files.
Is there something I can do to improve the speed of transfer? The
printer is network connected and it's a 100Mb/s network.
