Hello,
I have two printers attached to my desktop computer: one HP Laserjet
2300d and one Multifunction Laserjet 3052.
The first one (the 2300d) worked perfectly with HPLIP 0.9.11 (the
version that came with Ubuntu 6.06) and the HPLIP postscript driver
(the recommended one). : Duplex printing, two sheets on every page,
flipping on long and short edges, etc.
But when I bought the 3052 I could no longer use de 0.9.11 driver, as
it don't recognize the scanner of the multifunction printer, so I have
to install the 1.6.10 driver. Now the 3052 works perfectly (printer +
scanner), but I have started having problems with the 2300d. Now the
duplex printing is partially broken with the postscript driver
(recommended). I cannot print with 2 sheets on one page flipping on
the short edge. It flips the page on the long edge, so every part of a
printed page looks on the opposite direction. The rest of the printing
works rather well (sometimes it doesn't works, but finally I make it
the right way and it prints).
Any idea on solving this problem? Anybody else is having the same
problem?
