There are plugins that depend on the motd to run in the background. For example : radio and dj plugins. I can go on and on. The servers that run the plugin you speak of don't show the ad nor do they play sound, if coded the right way. So your request of completely removing motd will upset the community. Ads help communities pay the bills. If you hate ads so much, just donate money to pay for all the servers and then come back and complain about ads. gg.
