i feel like i shouldn't have to say this but apparently i do.

OHM has limited resources in the form of time available for major
changes. if you, any of you, have a cool proposal for major
changes or replacement of the software stack, cool, i think we're
happy to hear them.

but if you are expecting someone else to implement your really cool
idea that requires massive amounts of work, you may want to rethink
things. you at a minimum need to do your own proof of concept. it's
not that great ideas are not welcome, it's that getting other folks
to invest their limited time in your great idea means you need to
convince them.
