I have a hexayurt made from 2x4 studs and osb, covered with a layer of
foil/foam insulation and tarps.

It's been in use for around 3 years and has held up well, except for
replacing the tarps - the first batch were marginal quality.

I'm in Idaho with a fairly dry climate, but have not had any problems with
leaks or water damage. A small electric heater on low will keep it
reasonably warm (60 deg F) in 30-40 deg F weather.

If you're passing through Idaho on the way to Washington, you're welcome to
check it out.
