hi
thanks for looking James
still a problem though
I am using
settrans -c /dev/mouse /hurd/mouse --protocol=ps/2
x will start up and the fvwm pager appears, the mouse cursor
appears in the middle of the screen and looks fine
however, when I touch the mouse pad or mouse button, the mouse jumps
all over the screen and is not controlable
I used the bios to disable the mouse pad and just use the normal
laptop mouse as well and got the same results
are there any other arguments I can try in the settrans command to
fix this
laptop is a new Dell latitude, maybe the hardware is a problem
cheers
Donny
