I had tested hekad binary in centos7, it's not working correctly.
When i
start hekad it streams logs to amqp from my logfile, but when i
update the
log file, it does not stream logs to amqp
Procedure is almost the same but instead of
make deb
you use
make package
But TBH i just take rpm packages from github repository and they work
just fine for me (centos 5, 6 & 7)
