Dear safranim, If you are already in ALA, please consider joining the Jewish Information Committee of EMIERT. There is a small fee for joining EMIERT ($15?), but then it's free to be added to JIC. There is no work involved in being on the committee at all, but by building our numbers we (Jewish librarians) have greater recognition and voice in ALA.
