Just use the bootable cd, its a pain, but it works and leave slave pc on all the time while you test etc. It looks like the software support was built at a moment in time with certain drivers etc working with certain hardware/software setup several years ago. How much time would you need to resove this issue for your system.......who knows...just get it up and running on live cd and off you go....time is money
