I will add, now that I found this list's archive, that I see some others who
had the same or similar issue. None of the tips provided to them helped me,
either (different cable, different USB source, etc.).

Non-DFU, hackrf_info (as root) returns HACKRF_ERROR_NOT_FOUND (-5)
Non-DFU, LEDs are: GREEN ORANGE RED off FLICKER_ORANGE off
