I have had good luck transmitting and receiving NBFM on 2m and 70cm, completing several two-way (albeit short-distance) contacts. The only funky feature was the lack of “transceive” capability — I used 2 separate flowgraphs, and clicked to switch between them, which takes a couple of seconds.
