Hi Simon,

Sorry I can’t seem to find your post, could you please link it in.

P.S. thanks for the explanation.

Tom,
Did you get my post to this list on Sunday where I provided a sample command
and python file that I used to transmit DVB-T with a HackRF, or did it get lost?

The dvbt-hackrf.py file you used from sdr-examples asks for a port because it
is expecting to receive the data to transmit via UDP. The outfile, if I
remember correctly, stores the transmitted output.

My version that I posted on Sunday uses a fifo input file. I found this to
perform better on my pc, I got overflow issues with the UDP method.

Simon.

Hi Luis,

Could you explain please how exactly you got this going, I tried dvbt-hackrf.py
from srd-examples and all it asks for is a port and out file (not sure exactly
what is needed there)???. One of the flow graphs from gr-dvbt,
dvbt_tx_demo.grc outputs the .ts to .bin and has a sink for usrp which I
changed to osmocom sink for hackrf and got nothing, even tried to tx the
generated .bin file via hackrf_transfer and still got nothing.

I do have it working, I did use both sdr-examples and the gr-dvbt and both are
working.

Craig, maybe you have some missing block?
