Hi, I recently received my HackRF but it seems there's something broken with it. When I connect it to a USB3 port on my linux machine, I can see the following in the kernel logs: [18047.459099] usb 1-2: new full-speed USB device number 5 using xhci_hcd [18047.571290] usb 1-2: device descriptor read/64, error -71 [18047.675318] xhci_hcd 0000:00:14.0: Setup ERROR: setup context command for slot 4. [18047.787419] usb 1-2: new full-speed USB device number 6 using xhci_hcd [18047.955604] usb 1-2: device descriptor read/64, error -71 [18048.059535] xhci_hcd 0000:00:14.0: Setup ERROR: setup context command for slot 5. [18048.171730] usb 1-2: new full-speed USB device number 7 using xhci_hcd [18048.172020] usb 1-2: Device not responding to setup address. [18048.376042] usb 1-2: Device not responding to setup address. [18048.579942] usb 1-2: device not accepting address 7, error -71 [18048.692137] usb 1-2: new full-speed USB device number 8 using xhci_hcd [18048.692427] usb 1-2: Device not responding to setup address. [18048.896524] usb 1-2: Device not responding to setup address. [18049.100326] usb 1-2: device not accepting address 8, error -71 [18049.100386] hub 1-0:1.0: unable to enumerate USB device on port 2
--- on another machine with an USB2 port nothing happens at all. On the hackrf no lights go on and exactly the same happens when I press DFU while connecting to the computer. Do you have any ideas? Looks like a hardware defect, right? Philipp _______________________________________________ HackRF-dev mailing list [email protected] https://pairlist9.pair.net/mailman/listinfo/hackrf-dev
