OK, it appears I should update. I find VERY confusing instructions, or at least incomplete ones.
I have the HackRF commercial version shipped the first day, and am using the Ubuntu live disk burned on a USB key. I am very very much not a Linux person. I need explicit instructions telling exactly where I download these things from and where on the USB "disk" I look for the locations to place them. Apparently I have to update the firmware, a "CLPD" and two library files on the USB. If not, what symptoms does this cause? All HackRF Ones have shipped with firmware from git between the 2014.04.1 and 2014.08.1 releases. (It would have been 2014.04.1, but there was a quick fix needed to solve a factory test problem.) For information on the 2014.08.1 release, see the release notes: https://pairlist9.pair.net/pipermail/hackrf-dev/2014-August/000463.html Mike _______________________________________________ HackRF-dev mailing list [email protected] https://pairlist9.pair.net/mailman/listinfo/hackrf-dev
