I found the MTV review site which pulls various reviews and the reviews are mixed. The one you presented is there, another says something to the effect that if you liked the first you will like the second. One trashes Robert Downey's acting and another Ritches work. So reviews are not always reliable as they are personal opinions which may or may not match your own taste. I plan to go see it this weekend. The costumes will probably be the same level of "authenticity" as the last movie which I am not an expert on that period but from a novice opinion, looks good though but there seemed to be a few anomalies.
