The other discussion on here led me to realize that there is natural bias
among all of us who deal with fabric. But is it warranted bias? Or are we
just being stubborn and refuse to listen.

EVERYBODY has biases about everything. It is possible to try to be as objective as possible, but never possible to entirely achieve objectivity. People simply see everything through the lens of their own experiences and their own culture. That is Historiography 101.

However, accusing people of biases just because they don't agree with you, or because they have different needs and interests, or because their own experiences have shown them something different, is merely name calling.

Combative as I can be on subjects that interest me, I see no point in having an argument (and worse, a full-out list flame war) merely for the sake of having an argument. I don't see a lot of point in most meta-discussions, either.

I also don't see any point in providing you personally with fodder to prove, disprove, or flame about whatever you are discussing on some other e-forum.
