Hi Bruce: Yes,  the options are checked as I detailed in the prior post.
Also, I enabled logging prior to starting vb.net 2010 express and then disabled 
event logging after hitting alt-f4 in an attempt to close vb.net 2010 express 
which did not work.
I think that was also detailed in the prior post.
I was careful to follow my test plan and record each keystroke and visual and, 
or, audio result on my tape recorder so the information would be accurate.
I repeated the same test twice to ensure I did it right comparing the results 
of both tests just in case I had made a mistake but everything appeared good so 
I posted the prior message.
I am going to do a couple of more tests after double checking the COM 
definitions in the ObjectBrowser.
I also want to document if and when my script's handler subs are firing as I 
have done before but want to use WEEvent and duplicate the above test for 
consistency.
I will use the same test plan with the same keystrokes and also log the 
WEEvents as in the prior test so everything will remain in sync.
