That won't help... it is one single menu:
auto object = m_refBuilder->get_object("menu-linuxchess");
auto gmenu = Glib::RefPtr<Gio::Menu>::cast_dynamic(object);
if (!gmenu) {
g_warning("GMenu not found");
}
else
{
set_menubar(gmenu);
}
