Do you still get this error? D:\XWin\bin\..\lib\gcc\mingw32\3.4.5\..\..\..\..\mingw32\bin\ld.exe: cannot find -lfontconfig If so, I don't see how fontconfig comes into play. It's not listed in the libraries linked against.
