Hello all,

I have a few Pango::Layout showing texts on a drawing area and I'd like to allow the user to click on a specific Pango::Layout text on the drawing area.

Do I just call get_size for the rectangle of the text and compute whether the mouse click intersects this rectangle?

What is the correct way to do it?

I know on the GnomeCanvas, an event handler can be connected to a text item.
I'd like to know how to achieve the same thing on a drawing area.

Thanks very much for any advices.

Rose
