Some ideas: - Check in the Console application first to see if there are any logs.
- Next I would try to figure out how Unison was notifying you. Ideally it would be easy to reproduce. I wouldn't think it's Growl's issue itself due to the other apps notifying. - You can use the Growl Version Detective application to figure out which Growl framework is included with Unison. Let us know the version.
