Hi Saumya As Changwang mentioned, such routes will be present in rib-in-pre but missing in rin-in-post view. So, it can be accommodated in existing stats mentioned in this draft.
However, I do agree that a separate counter for that case will be good to have. Probably that can come as part of the draft that you are already working on. I hope we are not bucketing these stats as part of policies. For example, in EVPN based AFI/SAFI, the cross EVI absorption or non-absorption of NLRI’s for both Layer-3 and Layer-2 can be captured via these stats . There are few other counters as well. Are there any specific “grow” drafts that capture counters specific to only a particular AFI/SAFI I am in middle of penning down a new draft for capturing this scenario, in case, accommodating it in this draft is not possible.
