Hi list, one year in after my question how to migrate my vim:hardcopy letter workflow, I can report how things went since.
And they went great! I am super happy with groff and see all my wishes met (except one maybe) - mostly thanks to you, dear list members! The result is pdfs to print like http://mro.name/2025/bahn-2.pdf from standalone, 0-dependency, only mildly cluttered input like http://mro.name/2025/2025-07-17T132218-brief_--_bahn_db_redacted.roff. Only the total number of pages isn't automatic, but that's easy enough to provide after proofreading. Thanks so much! Marcus
