Solved with: I could create a pdf-file for "gnu.pdf" with convert-im6 gnu.eps pdf:gnu.pdf It is a little bigger than "gnu.eps" but fits in the image. Item solved with a change in "mixed_pickles.roff" to add a case for output device "pdf".
