I don't think this information usefully informs people.

1.  "mandoc_char.7" is not a file that groff ships.
2.  Only people who build groff from source will have a "test-groff"
    script to run.
3.  You are the only person in the world known to have a "test-nroff"
    script.

So when you run a command that most groff users have no experience with
on a man page that doesn't originate with the groff project, the reader
won't have much idea what to expect.  They won't know if the diagnostics
you quote are spurious or expected.

The groff mailing list is not a clearing house for all problems anyone
has with any man page.  Suspected bugs in other projects' man pages
should be reported to the appropriate project.
