Hi people, I just want to chime in, I've been using groff _a lot_ recently, and it's great! I've been using the mom macros extensively, it covers just so many cases, it's really useful. Documentation for groff, mom, ms, mm, I can always find answers.
I've written a report for an operating systems assignment, using m4 to pull data inside some tables, I've delivered it already. I'm writing two reports for another college subject, lots of code, so I'm using soelim. I'm writing my CV, first time writing a PDF with hyperlinks. I'm almost finishing two internship and research reports, it's when I created my first macros and variables to sum my hours. Next project: my thesis? It's thrilling to think about it. Something else: portability. When I finish class exercises, or when I'm waiting for the bus, or waiting for lunch, I can keep working on my smartphone, even write and run code, because Android is Linux, and Termux has got all the standard tools and more. Vim works just so perfectly on the touchscreen, and nroff output is really useful. While some complain 80 columns is too little and want 120, I now see myself limiting to 76 columns, just so I can work on my smartphone. Overall, everything is great. Lots of fun and experimentation and results. Best regards, Bento
