Thanks for the reply! I already have ghostscript installed. I checked the dependencies, on Void, the package you are referring to is called "gfonts" (the description says "URW+ base35 fonts").
I also tried using the ps device instead and piping the result through ps2pdf, and but I still got the same error with the URW fonts. When using the font names without U- though, this got them to actually render the different fonts (with ő,Ő,ű and Ű still not working properly).
