Hi folks, Either Savannah fixed something recently or I suddenly recovered from some sort of blindness, because I noticed that a long-standing (apparent) defect in the Savannah ticket tracker web UI has been resolved.
You can preview your "original submissions" now. The absence of this feature has frustrated multiple groff bug filers, including Dave and Bjarni, as I recall. Alas, I realized this (or it arrived) too late to prevent a URL for cat food from getting into a recent ticket of mine, but maybe others can now avoid similar ignominy. Since editing the "Enhanced" query form to drop the frustrating mandatory date-based filters that seem bent on reconfiguring themselves to return zero results,[1] I have also created a new query form called "Backlog"[2] which makes it straightforward to filter tickets by the "Planned Release" field. It is now easy to see how many tickets remain to be resolved for groff 1.23.0 (9) and how many have been fixed (369). You can have a look around at the usual place. https://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?group=groff Regards, Branden [1] https://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/groff/2022-09/msg00089.html [2] Description: "It's a marathon, not a sprint."
